Our Cubs meet at our Scout Hall on Fridays from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm. We are currently looking for more Cubs so please get in touch today!
The Cub Pack begins at the age of 8 until the age of 10.5, with around 6 months of flexibility on either side of the age ranges. Cubs meet together as a Pack but then work in smaller groups called ‘Sixers’. A team of adult volunteers called Leaders will run the activities for the Cubs and link with parents/guardians to ensure that all of our young people have a fantastic time as Cubs.
Cubs take part in a wide range of different activities in the Cub programme which is a designed to interest them and grow on the skills they’ve learnt in Beavers. The Cub programme ensures that young people have fun along the way whilst learning new skills and making friends.
Cubs work toward achieving Activity Badges and Challenge Badges. When a series of Challenge Badges are achieved it works towards achieving the top award for Cubs, the Chief Scout Silver Award. Gaining the Award is a fantastic achievement for any of our young people.
